Ms Anne Pearson

Anne Pearson is a Lecturer in Psychology and carries a number of key administrative roles in the Directorate of Psychology. She is the programme leader for the BSc (Hons) Psychology and Counselling, a programme that also runs in our partner institution in Hong Kong. She is the dissertation module leader and also a member of the School ethics committee. Anne has worked at the University of Salford for twelve years, and in that time has had extensive experience teaching across the full range of undergraduate topics. Her current teaching and research foci are the psychological and political aspects of mental health disorders, including online counselling therapies and emotional intelligence. Anne currently teaches on the Psychology undergraduate modules in Individual Differences and also the Psychology of Mental Health; she is also teaching on the MSc Applied Therapies programme and is currently leading the module ┐Psychological Therapies for Common Mental Health Disorders┐.
