Profile Summary

My main area of research is dietary manipulation for gains in performance, and to date the focus has been dietary manipulation to control glycaemic response and investigate the subsequent effects of this on both physiological and psychological performance. More specifically, I have investigated high fat versus high carbohydrate diets, and manipulated diets to produce low and high glycaemic responses, and more latterly, investigated the effects of specific supplementation on shifts in fuel utilisation during incremental exercise.
