Profile Summary

I am a filmmaker and researcher with a particular interest in women’s history and the documentation of forgotten and unwritten histories. I write, direct and have created installations and multi-media performances as well as film pieces. I have collaborated with the Manchester Art Gallery, the Library Theatre, Stockport Air-raid Shelters and the Wonder Women Festival, among others.

My main research interest is the film and theatre of the suffragette movement, where I aim to document archive materials and produce creative responses to the work through the media of performance and film.

I teach on naturalistic and screen acting modules for first and second years, Introduction to Scriptwriting and I supervise on Video Projects and third year research projects.
