Currently engaged in research in the area of project-based organization, with particular reference to the UK film and media industries. Aspects of this phenomenon of particular interest are the effects of the UK institutional system on the structure of the industry; the necessity for, and functioning of, reputational networks in relation to project-based organization; the development of industrial clusters such as those found in Soho and Vancouver; the problematical nature of organizational learning for project-based firms; and the impact upon workers of this form of governance. Developing an interest in the application of International Accounting Standards in countries where different forms of corporate governance are observed.
