Profile Summary

My teaching interests have been focused mainly to diagnostic nuclear medicine. Additionally, for many years, I have taught on various medical imaging related masters degrees and also the BSc Radiography.

Until quite recently my research interests have surrounded advanced practice in radiography and also some aspects of clinical nuclear medicine. More recently I have focused my research to ‘compression force in mammographic imaging’ and also ‘lesion detection in low resolution computed tomography’. Since Easter 2009 I have been lead for the Diagnostic Imaging Research Programme within the University of Salford.
