Profile Summary

My main research interests cover computers in language pedagogy. In recent years I have been particularly interested in the relationship between computer assisted language learning (CALL) and learner autonomy.  I have published widely within this area and recently secured British Council funding to further this work to international contexts.  I am a regular presenter of such work at national and international conferences (frequently as a plenary or keynote speaker).
