I started my nurse training at the University of Salford in 2005 and qualified as a mental health nurse in 2008. Since this I have studied a BSc in therapeutic interventions and completed my NMC practice teacher award at the University of Salford. I have worked within Greater Manchester as a staff nurse within acute mental health settings and rehabilitation services. In 2015 I joined the University as a Teaching & Learning intern teaching across the pre-registration nursing programmes.
