Profile Summary

I am a lecturer in the Petroleum and Gas Engineering Division at the University of Salford. I am programme leader for the Masters programmes in Industrial and Commercial Combustion Engineering and Gas Engineering and Management. I am also the Associate Head of the Spray Research Group.

My areas of expertise cover both experimental and computational analysis in the fields of; combustion technology and utilisation and the industrial and commercial application of sprays, for such uses as; cleaning, propulsion, agriculture, aerosol design, fire and explosion suppression, decontamination and coating.

I have undertaken management consultancy and research work for a number of blue chip companies covering a wide range of subject areas, such as; product design, developing and embedding innovation within companies, testing products to standards and health and safety advice with regard to gas.
