Profile Summary
My research and teaching expertise cuts across the broad subject of environmental management.  I focus on applied research to inform environmental decision-making, management and policy development.  I also undertake environmental management consultancy, especially for the nuclear sector.  Specific areas of research activity include:
 

Developing tools, conceptual frameworks and models for environmental management

Development of Decision Support Systems for environmental management

Modelling environmental contaminants, especially in coastal interface ecosystems

Management of environmental pollution

Pollution ecology, especially Radioecology

Food chain transfer of contaminants 

Ecosystem services

Environmental management decision making and uncertainty

Corporate environmental management and environmental management systems
