Profile Summary

I qualified as a diagnostic radiographer in 1994 and have experience of plain radiography, CT, nuclear medicine and DXA bone densitometry. Prior to joining the University of Salford as a Lecturer in Radiography, I was employed as a Clinical Specialist in Nuclear Medicine / Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust.

I have a strong interest in student learning and pedagogical research. I am currently in the process of undertaking a Ph.D by published work. My area of research is examining the role of Research-informed Teaching (RiT) on student learning within the undergraduate diagnostic radiography curriculum at the University of Salford.
