I am a wildlife vertebrate conservation biologist who tackles problems in this field of research mainly through applied and pure studies of animal behaviour. I have extensive and broad experience of working in the wild in Brazil and in captivity (mainly zoos). Beyond this I conduct research on urban wildlife, especially human-wildlife interactions. My research approach is both interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary.
Award given to recognise a researcher who is considered a leader in his field in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Research award given to the top 5% of researchers in Brazil in terms of their scientific productivity.
