Profile Summary

 Dr. Zeeshan Aziz has over nine years research experience in the application of advanced IT techniques within integrated construction informatics environments. The experience was acquired at the University of Illinois, London South Bank and Loughborough University. His research interests include information technology support for collaboration in preparedness, response, and recovery during disasters involving critical physical infrastructures. He is also involved in application of novel technologies such as Remote Sensing, Virtual Reality, Building Information Modeling and Geographic Information Systems in major civil engineering projects, infrastructure condition assessment and intelligent automation of construction tasks. He has been involved in teaching at both post-graduate and under-graduate levels and has provided commercial consulting services in infrastructure deployment projects.
