Areas of interests include: Natural Ventilation, Hybrid (mixed mode) Ventilation in buildings, Low energy/carbon building design & consultancy, building refurbishment and retrofitting.

Building performance modelling expertise: CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) modelling for various applications in buildings, i.e. ventilation effectives, heat transfer, thermal comfort etc. (relevant code used in the past– CFX4 series, CFX 5 to 12 series, Ansys Workbench - Design Modeller, ICEM; open source code – OpenFOAM). DTS – Dynamic Thermal Simulations to predict the likely thermal performances of buildings (relevant code used: IES VE).
