Typographic Haiku: Collaborative Experiments 2
Isherwood, T 2015, 'Typographic Haiku: Collaborative Experiments 2', exhibited at: 52 Princess Street, Manchester, England, from 12/03/2015 to 24/04/2015.
Following on from the success of the first collaboration between the Level 4 Creative Writing and Graphic Design students at the University of Salford, the second exhibition took place in Manchester in a building that is exclusively inhabited by creative industries, such as Havas Lynx, over 5 floors. We used the extensive entrance foyer and its first floor mezzanine to showcase the poems, posters and typefaces generated during the collaboration. Working with a small team of exhibition installers that assisted and facilitated the curation and hanging of the works, the exhibition was seen regularly by over 350 creative industry professionals on their way in and out of the building, generating significant interest and several student placements.
